Olympics Opening Ceremony - Soniya not Manmohan gets invitation

China is hosting 2008 Olympics and has put up an extravagant inaugural ceremony. It has invited heads of all countries such as Bush from U.S., French President Nicolas Sarkozy,Japanese Prime Minister Yasuo Fukuda, Australian Prime Minister Kevin Rudd, Finnish Prime Minister Matti Vanhanen and Mauritiun President Anerood Jugnauth .British Prime Minister Gordon Brown will attend the closing ceremony. Among those who have refused to attend are the German Chancellor Angela Merkel, Canadian Prime Minister Stephen Harper and UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-Moon.

Soniya Gandhi has been invited and not Manmohan Singh from India. She was seen waving and enjoying the moments at the opening ceremony. Its a shame and insult that an Italian is representing India at a world event. She married Rajiv Gandhi . When he was killed in a suicide bomb attack , P.V .Narsimha rao was made the party leader and headed the congress government . But when she decided to enter politics after congress leaders convinced her as they could not find a single Indian congress man \ woman to lead, she had thrown out Narsimha Rao unceremoniusly . When she was about to head a coalition government many supporting parties opposed this Italian from becoming PM.Even some of her party members resigned and have started new party NCP. And now she has gone all the way to China as if she represents India. I dono about the rest of the country but I hate this moment.

Firstly Congress could nt find any leader other than this lady who never had any taste of politics in her life.Suddenly she has been given the post to lead the party then they want to force her on us as prime minister. Its like a unqualified young lad being made the CEO of a company because he happens to be the son of Chairman of the company.

Lets forget about all this shit....but why not PM or President , why Soniya should be invited.God may save this country .

According to a news report :
A spokesperson for the Chinese embassy in New Delhi, Li Minggang, said the Beijing Olympic Committee and the International Olympic Association, as per procedure, had asked the Olympic committee of every country to “choose its own chief guest”.
“You should ask Suresh Kalmadi (the chairman of the Indian Olympic Committee and a Congress leader) this question, of who is being invited from India,” Li said. Kalmadi couldn’t be immediately reached for comment.
