Indian Boxer loses in Semis - Settles with Bronze

Bipasha's motivation of hot date proposal has not affected Vijender .Indian boxer Vijender Kumar lost in the semis by a thin margin of 3 points. Neverthless he has inspired other sportsmen in India to dream for Olympic medals. Vijender Kumar has lost to Cuba's Emilio Correa Bayeaux in the middleweight (75kg) semi-final at the Worker's Gymnasium on Friday.
Emilio won the bout 8:5 to book his place in the final. The loss means Vijender will get a bronze medal as according to the rules, both losing semifinalists are given a bronze each.

India has always been a mere participant in Olympics. But this year it was a different scene.First Abhinav won Gold at shooting, then Sushil Kumar has won bronze in wrestling and then Vijender's boxing bronze.

But we should not forget the heroics of Akhil Kumar in boxing .In pre-qaurter finals he has beaten World No 1 Boxer and has shown his capability at the highest level. He has lost the points but has always been a dominating competator
